With reference to your application for employment consideration with The Concord Group . Of great importance to clarify the following :

1. Preferred Mobilization or Commencement Date :September 15th or October 12th , 2002 .

5. Do you hold a valid drivers license ? ., Traveling on the island will require mobility , We normally provide a transport for senior personnel’s with Drivers License or we can make alternative arrangements .

Once considered , You will be based at the Financial and Accounting services Department of the Concord Group in Port – Louis , Mauritius as Resident Manager- Information Sciences

As compensation for services to be rendered under this contract , your remuneration package will be US $82K (Eighty Two Thousand Dollars ) per annum , as an expatriate the amount is total Net , + mobility , 4 weeks ( 1 month ) all expenses paid leave of absence , life and health care insurance , full accommodation as par your requirement .

The position on offer is based in Port – Louis ( Mauritius ), Mauritius is a peaceful , beautiful , exotic , culturally diverse hospitable island in the Indian ocean, the assignation may required you to visit offshore centers or be on board certain cruise ships for few days as need be .

As you may occasionally be required to visit offshore centers , or sea going cruise liners , or vessels bound by the International SOLAS CONVENTION ( Safety of Life at Sea ), The Republic of Mauritius’s Ministry of Interior requires an International Maritime Logistics and Safety Certification (IMLSC ).

Once considered , you may be required to undertake the IMLSC Certification Program . If required we will recommend certain institutions to you .

Be informed before hand that once considered , you will be offered a 2 years employment contract , duly endorsed by the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Mauritius , your contract will clearly stipulate a mutual probation period of 6 months , the probation period will be performance based , the contract will run to fullness only if mutually satisfied with performance and working environment . If mutually unsatisfied with working environments or working performance , we will give an additional equivalent of 3 months compensation pay . ( Salary and Remuneration is Net , and normally effected monthly in whatever form you prefer ). As an expatriate your total income is net , free of any local taxes , but we are in no position to advise you as to expatriate tax situation in your country of residence .

Accommodation will be provided on as need basis . The Board will be meeting this afternoon , in a couple of hours and we will let you know . Due to the urgent nature of the position , we will inform you of the outcome shortly .

The IMLSC- Certification is a Ministerial requirement by the Ministry of Interior for WORK PERMIT endorsement . You are to be fully responsible for your IMLSC-Certification Program .

We are responsible for your re-location expenses , from country of residence to Port Louis in the Republic of Mauritius with a maximum of 4 dependants allowed , this expenses covered you/your family’s return traveling expenses , and all expenses concerning freight of your personal effects from country of residence to Mauritius .
